The award winning Band of 2014/15, with lead clarinettist Bethany Nichol as featured soloist presents a programme of celebration and vitality that includes early twentieth century classics for band by Vaughan Williams and Grainger, music from Latvia and American and wonderful pieces by twenty-first century British composers Martin Ellerby, Fergal Carroll, Bill Connor (a première of his latest work specially written for us!) and Adam Gorb, who brings our concert to a riotous, plate-smashing conclusion.
